Hello, everyone.
I love smoked food, like sausages, smoked turkeys, and smoked cheese. Anyway, I like anything smoked because the flavor that spreads in my mouth is the best, and it goes well with rice and can be enjoyed as a snack! When I grow up, I want to buy a smoking machine and make smoked food by myself. By the way, there is recommended smoked food that I want everyone to eat. It's "Iburigakko(いぶりがっこ)". This is one of my favorites. Gakko means pickles with Akita dialect, and as the name implies, this food is smoked pickles. More specifically, this is smoked pickled radish(たくあん). Do you like pickled radish? I hate it. However, Iburigakko is a different food. The smoked flavor and crunchy texture are irresistible, so it is an addictive food that you cannot quit once you eat it. Therefore, if you come to Akita, you should buy it as a souvenir. Of course, you can buy it on the website, or maybe it's sold at supermarkets in your town.
In contrast, there is food that I hate. It's Natto. I hate all of Natto, such as color, appearance, stickiness, and packaging, but I hate the smell of it above all. The smell is a terrible stench and makes me uncomfortable and full of anger. It ruins my meals! Natto is a biological weapon and not food for me. Neverthless, my family, especially my sister often eats natto not only in the morning but also at night, so we often quarrel. I can't understand why people eat Natto, a rotten food. Eating Natto is the only thing that I can't understand in Japanese food culture, and I will hate Natto from now on.
Well, I'm now at home, but have lived alone for several days in an apartment in Saitama. I eat frozen food for lunch, but basically I make simple dishes by myself for breakfast and dinner. Also, it's cumbersome to make according to the recipe, so the seasoning and cooking method are always rough. My mother says that I should make dishes according to the recipe, but I think if it's delicious, that's fine. That is what man meals are. However, I'd like to gradually increase the repertoire of cooking and improve my cooking skills so that I can behave even when my friends come.
