How to spend the weekend

 Hello, everyone.

Recently, I've been going to Tokyo for the weekend. I've been to Akihabara before, and this silver week I went to Ikebukuro, Shibuya and Nakano, besides Akihabara. In these four area, there are stores called Mandarake, which I showed you a picture of last time, so I used silver week to visit all the shops. I felt like I was going to museums because I could to see so many sofvi and was very happy with it. I thought about buying some sofvi this time, but just seeing them on display and for sale in the showcase filled me up, so I didn't buy anything. Nevertheless, I was able to make some great memories during Silver Week. Also, each area was different and good, and it was a lot of fun to just walk around. Being from the country, everything looks great to me. I especially like Akihabara and Nakano. Akihabara has many toy stores and cute maids in various places, so it's very attractive. Nakano has an old and nostalgic feel to it, but at the same time, it's a very fun place to visit because it has a lot of interesting stores(Nakano Broadway).

I love Tokyo. In my boring college life, going to Tokyo for the weekend is my driving force and something I look forward to. Of course, I know that going from Saitama to Tokyo is a bad idea because of the danger of corona, and I don't expect this life to last long. But it's too late to do anything about it, because there is a risk of contracting corona in the Kanto area just by getting on a train or moving around. Even if I don't go to Tokyo, I still want to do some kind of activity on the weekend. Weekends are the only time in my college life that I can heal.

Thank you for reading.

  1. Hi Ryota!

It was a nice weekend, and I also went to Tokyo during the silver week. I went to Shibuya, daikanyama and Nakameguro. I ate delicious cheesecake that I have always wanted to eat and bought new clothes. I haven't been to places like Akihabara yet, so I 'll go there someday!

  2. Hi Ryota, I like Nakano Broadway too. I'm interested in old toys and collect, so Nakano is like a heaven for me. When I go there, it's like a maze inside, so I may find myself going around the same place without even knowing it... I especially like a doll called Bear Brick. Let's talk about your favorite one and mine if we have a chance!
