Problem

Hello, everyone.

I've had an eye disease called Visual Snow since I was little. I see a lot of light of various sizes flashing and moving in my vision like a sandstorm. In everyday life, my vision is not completely blind, but it is very unclear. Especially fine letters and computer screens are quite difficult to see, and my vision is filled with countless dots of light. Also, the dots of light are more noticeable in empty spaces such as the sky and darkness, so I was disappointed that I couldn't see the stars clearly when I went to look at them during my summer vacation. Therefore, I think Visual Snow is a very bad disease, but I didn't actually know it was a disease until last year and was surprised to know that quite a lot of people suffer from the same symptoms. And this disease, which is becoming rather popular these days, has no cure and everyone is in trouble.

By the way, the reason I brought this topic up is because my symptoms have been getting worse recently. The light flashes more intensely, and something bigger and creepier seems to be moving in the corner of my vision. Perhaps it's newly related to stress or something mental, but it's very tricky nonetheless. Either way, I've endured until now, but it's finally getting harder to do so. Somebody please help me by becoming a doctor in the future!

Thank you for reading.

  1. Hi, Ryota.
It's very hard, now I know on your blog that you have such a symptom..💦 It's difficult to be a doctor in the future, but I hope your symptoms get better! Recently, I also have a pain in my shoulder when working on a computer. Let's take good care of our body.
